Liquid Mercy
This painting describes the moment when self begins to dissolve. It represents transformation and resilience.
At its center, there is a face appearing to be melting, dissolving into a world of burning reds and vivid greens. What first resembles disappearance is, in fact, a quiet rebirth. As the boundaries of the self begin to fade, she does not become weaker, yet she becomes freer, discovering a strength that could only emerge by letting go of who she once believed she had to be, because of what the society dictated. This work symbolizes destruction and renewal in the same breath. The vibrant colors consume the figure without extinguishing her. So sometimes we must completely dissolve before we can truly see ourselves with greater clarity.
