The one who watched it burn
This painting explores the burden of surviving what could not be saved. At its center, a solitary figure emerges from a landscape of burning reds, molten golds, and fading blues. Around her, blue tears drift through the flames like fragments of moments that can no longer be reclaimed.
Hidden within the eye in the upper left is another small face, visible only if you look closely enough. It is a silent witness, watching everything from within. Some parts of us burn in the fire, while others remain, forever carrying the memory of what was lost.
There is a profound loneliness in watching something you once loved disappear, knowing that no amount of hope or grief can ever restore it. Yet within that devastation lies an unexpected strength. She bears witness to the end of one chapter, understanding that some losses cannot be undone but they can only be carried within. And sometimes our greatest act of courage is not preventing the fire, but remaining beside it long enough to let it transform us.
